Do you ever have this problem with your "Framelits"? You reach for your Framelits so you can create that beautiful card you've been waiting all day to put together, and your Framelits are all tangled and stuck to the tape on the packaging. Here is the answer to that problem.
Magnetic Vent Covers!! These magnetic pages are perfect for storing your Framelits. Three (3) sheets, 81/2" x 11" for $5 at Loews. Simply cut out the magnetic sheet with your scissors to the same size piece of card board that comes with the Framelits. FOR ALL THINGS -STAMPIN' UP!
Another card using the For All Things (135155) stamp set. I stamped the Very Vanilla background using Cajun Craze ink and I used a green pen for the dots. The piece of Very Vanilla in the center was cut using the Labels Collection Framelits (125598). I stamped the leaves using Cajun Craze, Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss ink and then fussy cut them and attached them to the card. The button is the new Gold Basic Metal (133763) buttons from the Holiday catalog.

FOR ALL THINGS - STAMPIN' UP!
I created this card using the new For All Things (135152) stamp set from the new Holiday Catalog. I used Stampin' Up's! Burlap Ribbon (132140) to make the little bag for the flowers and tied it up using the Linen Thread (104199). Easy peasy card!!

MORE STAMPIN' UP! CARD SAMPLES
Kate Liechty created this card using the Perfect Pennants stamp set on page 16 of the catalog. She also used the Banners Framlits on page 231 and the new Washi Tape on page 190. This is such a fun and festive card.
Chris G made this card using the new Petite Petals on page 125 of the catalog. She colored the pearls to match the flowers. Very pretty.
Mary Skinkis created this card using the Everything Eleanor stamp set on page 69 of the catalog. This is not a new stamp set but one not to be forgotten. I've always loved this set. Very pretty card.
This card was made by Mary J. She used the Work of Art stamp set on page 165.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at these cards, and hopefully they have given you some new ideas.

MORE STAMPIN' UP! CONVENTION SWAPS
Angie Lunden created this beautiful card using the new Friends Who Know stamp on page 114 in the catalog. She used the File Tabs Edgelits on page 229 on each edge of the card so they interlock, and then she used a bellyband to keep the card closed. I love this idea.
This card is so beautiful with all the colors. Arlyne Dagostino designed this card using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set on page 165 of the catalog. She then stamped the butterflies using the Papillon Potpourri on page 149 and punched them out using the Elegant Butterfly punch on page 219.
I hope you enjoyed these cards, and I will see you tomorrow for some more.

STAMPIN' UP! CONVENTION SWAPS
For the next few days I thought I would share with you some of the swaps I received at convention last month. I made 100 swaps and received 100 swaps back and I love every one of them, but I have picked out some of my very favorites to share with you.
Judy Cash created this card and she used the new Work of Art stamp set on page 165 in the catalog. She also used the new In-Colors ink and card stock on page 179. I love these colors together!
Belinda Mansell made this card using the Work of Art stamp set and the new For Your Country stamp set on page 153 of the catalog. I absolutely love this card!
Jo Ann Bernard created this card using The Open Sea stamp set on page 131 of the catalog. This is not a new stamp set, but I never get tired of seeing it and using it. Jo Ann embossed the background and stamped the ship and added a piece of the new Moonlight designer paper. She also added a piece of the Early Espresso Bakers Twine to tie it all up.
Is this card gorgeous or what? Dawn DePalma used the By the Tide stamp set on page 131 of the catalog. Again, not a new stamp set but a real treasure to use. I love how Dawn used the oval Occasions Paper Piercing template on page 218 to frame the sea fan.
I hope you have enjoyed these cards and they have given you some new ideas. I'll post some more of my favorites tomorrow.

BLENDABILITIES
I thought I would supply you with a list of important facts and information about Stampin' Up's new BLENDABILITIES MARKERS. I will admit I use Copic markers too, but I will tell you I find the new Blendabilities very nice, colors are very brilliant and these markers are very easy to use and I'm always happy with the end results. These markers are half the cost of the Copic markers too. I hope this list helps you when using Blendabilities.
*Stampin’ Up! markers coordinate wonderfully with Stampin’ Up! card stock, and can be used with transparent sheets.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT STAMPIN' UP!
BLENDABILITIES
Blendabilities Markers are alcohol based markers and the caps should never be
left off of these markers when not in use or the alcohol will evaporate very quickly.
*There are 13 different color combinations of Blendabilities, 3 pens per each pack. There is also a Color Lifter pen.
*Each pen has a rectangular barrel to keep your markers from rolling away.
*Storing these markers flat will help to maintain the life of your markers.
*Each pen comes with a tip on each end: brush and fine tip.
*Each cap is color coded and it is a very tight fit on your marker. This is so the alcohol in your markers does not dry up.
*When putting your caps back on your marker I would suggest laying your marker down on your work space and then sliding your cap right on to the marker so as not to accidentally hit the tip of your marker. Hitting the tip of your marker will slice the tip and will not be usable.
*I wear an old shirt when using my markers, because when pulling the tight cap off sometimes small dots of ink will splatter and I have ruined a good white shirt from splatters.
*Everyone has their own way of blending, but when I blend using Blendabilities I first start with my darkest marker, then I use my medium marker and start coloring at the base of where the darkest color ended blending together in a circular motion, then I use my lightest marker using the same technique.
* ALWAYS use MEMENTO INK PADS.

I thought I would share with you this very cool project we made at convention last month. This was made using the new Amazing Birthday (134225) stamp set and the new Stars Framelits (133723). The striped background paper is from the new Flowerpot DSI (133698). Inside this little card holder is four cards stamped with the Amazing Birthday stamp set.
