HOLIDAY HAPPINESS

Oh do I ever love these Holiday/Christmas cards we made at my up-line, Linda Heller's stamping group this past Friday night.  The card on the left was made using the very cute Snow Day stamp set from the new Holiday Happiness catalog.  I think this snowman is so darn cute.  We used the new Candy Dots for his buttons, and the Merry across the card is the Expressions Thinlets Dies also from the Holiday Happiness catalog.  Anyone who loves snowman this is a MUST buy stamp set!!

The beautiful card on the right is from the new Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Set on page 27 also from the new Holiday Happiness catalog.  This kit also comes with liners for the envelopes but I forgot to add the envelope to this photo.

SECRET GARDEN CONVENTION SWAP

This card was one of my convention swaps.  I made 50 of these to swap in an organized swap that I signed up for.  I used the NEW, and one of my very favorites stamps sets,  Secret Garden and the beautiful Modern Medley DSP.  I used the new In-Colors Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe and water colored the ink using a water brush.

WITCHES' BREW CANVAS ART PROJECT

Carrie demonstrated this altered art project at convention last month, and while I sat in the auditorium watching her I knew I was going to have to make one when I got home. I used the new Witches' Brew DSP and the new Halloween Hello stamp set.   This was such an easy project and so fun to do.

STAMPIN' UP! CONVENTION SWAPS

 This beautiful card did not come with a name on it so I cannot give the person the credit she deserves.  The stamp set used is Secret Garden, and each flower was embossed to give it a beautiful raised effect.

   Gigi Parido created this beautiful card using the Modern Medley Designer Series Paper.

Diane Bizzell created this beautiful card using several different elements.  Venetian Romance DSP,  a Very Vintage Designer Button, Natural Trim ribbon, and Trust God stamp set. 

Jean Nauta made this card using the Serene Silhouettes
stamp set.  She did a beautiful job sponging the background.

STAMPIN' UP! CONVENTION 2013

The 25 Stampin' Up! Convention 2013 was amazing!!  Unfortunately I was not able to post news from convention on my blog because I either ran out of time or did not have internet access.  The pace at convention is so fast, and there is very little time for anything extra.  We were so busy swapping cards, taking classes, going to the General Sessions and learning about future products, and seeing fabulous demonstrations, and attending the biggest party ever to celebrate Stampin' Up's! 25 anniversary.

Wow, what can I say...I've been gone from my blog for over a month.  This summer is flying by and I'm so far behind on posting. I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Salt Lake City, Utah for Stampin' Up!'s 25 Anniversary.  I'm so excited and I will be posting here as much as possible giving you all the new and exciting news from convention.

Dolled-Up Birthday Kit

To assemble one card, follow the instructions below:

1. Place the stamp on clear-mount block D or H rubber side up and ink with the Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Spot.
2. Stamp "Happy Birthday" at the bottom of the card front.
3. Ink the Sponge Dauber with Soft Suede ink and gently antique the doily and the edges of the dress form.
4. Adhere the pieces to the card front in this order:
   
   • Doily
   • Very Vanilla Cardstock
   • Dress form
   • Flower

WILDFLOWER MEADOW STAMP SET!

Have you seen this new stamp set in the new catalog?  I love it.  It is called Wildflower Meadow (page 83 in the new catalog) and it comes with an Embossing Folder (page 191 in the new catalag).  I made this card at Linda Heller's stamping get together and knew I was going to have to purchase this set.  I first stamped the image on to card stock and then ran it through the Big Shot using the embossing folder giving you that beautiful embossed look.  I then added a new Very Vintage Designer Button (page 169 in the new catalog)  Hope you enjoy today's cards.

NEW STAMPIN' UP! IN-COLORS!

May I introduce you to the new Stampin' Up! In-Colors.  Aren't they gorgeous?!  Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding and Strawberry Slush.  The above card I made at my upline Linda Heller's stamping meet up.  This card shows an example of each of the new In-Colors.  The back ground on the Baked Brown Sugar is embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder.  The butterflies were punched out using the Bitty Butterfly punch and the Elegant Butterfly punch.  The greeting is from the new Chalk Talk stamp set.  All of these can be order on-line HERE.
